Cookie policy
What cookies this website uses, and how to control them.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies are used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and sometimes to track how a site is used.
The law in the UK — the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations — says we must ask your permission before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary for the site to work.
The cookies we use
As it stands, this site sets no cookies of its own. There is nothing for you to consent to and no banner to dismiss, which is how we would like to keep it.
| Name | Purpose | Type | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
| None at present. | |||
If we ever add analytics or embedded content that sets cookies, we will update this table and ask for your consent first.
Third-party services
We load our typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google’s servers. Google receives your IP address as part of that request. No cookie is set by this.
If you would rather avoid that request altogether, the fonts can be self-hosted — see the notes in our site README.
Our web host keeps server logs containing IP addresses for security and troubleshooting. These are not cookies, and the logs are kept only as long as needed.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Instructions for every major browser are at aboutcookies.org. Blocking cookies will not stop this site from working.
Most browsers also offer a “do not track” setting. Since we do not track you, there is nothing for it to switch off here.
Changes to this policy
If we start using cookies, we will update this page and ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie is set.
