Food and essentials
Hot meals, food parcels, warm clothing and the basics that get overlooked.
Rosedale Foundation is a Christ-led start-up charity aimed at supporting the homeless and displaced in London’s local communities.
A hot meal matters. So does the week after, and the month after that. We walk with people from the first night through to a front door of their own.
Hot meals, food parcels, warm clothing and the basics that get overlooked.
Emergency beds, winter shelter and practical help finding safe, settled housing.
Advocacy, benefits and ID paperwork, employment support and a community that stays.
25 OCTOBER
Sunday 25 October, 4pm to 7pm
Fabal Beerhall, 88 Druid Street, Bermondsey, London SE1 2AN
An evening of painting, good company and a glass of something, raising funds for our outreach programme. No experience needed and all materials are provided.
Homelessness is rarely one bad decision. It is usually a run of them made by other people: a landlord, an employer, a system that lost the paperwork. By the time someone is sleeping rough, the help they need is not complicated, but it does need to be patient.
So we try to be the people who are still there in March, when the cold weather appeal has finished and the cameras have gone. That is the whole idea behind our name and behind our work.
For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was a stranger and you invited me in. Matthew 25:35
We are led by our faith and open to everyone. We do not ask what someone believes before we help them.
Give once, give monthly, or however your heart is led.
